My daughter had a bad case in Orange County. Shortly after her 21st birthday, she ran a red light after she had two drinks too many. A man was killed. Mr. Poland told us up front that the road would be long and difficult. Since my daughter had no criminal record, he thought there was a chance for probation. We appeared in court at least 10 times. Each time probation was not an option. We switched judges and he kept fighting for us. We came to his office often and he explained each step. There was never an extra charge for the office consultations. His fee was the most reasonable we found, although we came to him on a referral, we had called other attorneys. After over a year, my daughter got probation. She had to go to the county jail, but she did not have to go to prison. In Orange County this case is very rare. I don't think there are many, if any lawyers who could have done the job that Mr. Poland did.

During the worst time in my nephew’s life he treated him with respect and remained a calm presence during a truly chaotic time. We could not have asked for a better lawyer, and are grateful for him. Rich is a dedicated, hard-working man and his rates were reasonable. In fact there were definitely meetings we had with him that did not end up on he bill, not saying he won’t charge you but he is fair and he is definitely in this for justice, not money. I am happy to recommend him and am confident that if you find yourself in a situation where you need a lawyer that Rich Poland will do his best to represent you.

We went to attorney Mr. Richard Poland after some problems our son had. He was very nice and really cared what happened, and spoke to our son so that he understood things. We are glad that we had someone with a lot of experience that cared about our sons future.

What a horrible way to start off the year. Richard Poland did a poor job representing my cousin. Poland asked my cousin for more money. Poland promised my cousin he would get probation. And he lied. My cousin's now in jail, and this is his first offense. Hire someone else.
